After falling in the season’s first, home doubleheaders to Cumberland County, the Lakers sailed back last week with wins against Metcalfe.
Junior Aniyah Coffey contributed 30 points in Russell County’s 76-67 victory over the Hornets.
In Varsity Boys action, Russell County romped over Metcalfe 78-58.
Five Lakers scored in double-digits to drive the victory home.
