Cecelia C. Meditiz, 84, Russell Springs

Cecelia C. Meditiz, 84, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025. Born on February 15, 1941 to Harry and Irene Smith, Indiana.

She is survived by sister, Marcia D’Aurora, and preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Married to Herbert Evans who presided her death, they had six children, survived by five, James Evans, Robert Evans (passed), Tammy Evans, Rick Evans, Marcia McDaniel, and Raquel Evans. She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren, with special mention to Josh Miller and Courtney Miller. Cecelia is also preceded in death by her second husband, Earl Meditz.

Cecelia truly lived life to the fullest, to the best of her abilities with simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, drawer, painter, a wealth of knowledge of so much on so many levels from her many experiences in life, and a lover of animals.

Care and cremation were chosen.
