Staff Report
The Russell County Mighty Laker Marching Band competed in the Barren County Marching Invitational over the weekend with grand results.
In AAA prelim awards they took Best Colorguard, Best Percussion and first place in their class.
In Final Awards they received Best Overall Music, Best Overall Visual, Dr. Rick Ness Best Overall Effect.
And to finish the awards, they received Grand Champion.
The Laker Band competes in Class AAA East Regionals at South Laurel High School this weekend.
