Annette Patricia Mullin Kelsey, 79
Annette Patricia Mullin Kelsey, Age 79, departed this life and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Annette was born on March 11, 1946 in London Derry, Ireland to Francis Joseph and Ellen Dougherty Mullin.
Annette spent much of her youth working at the Ben Sherman Shirt Factory and being a devoted caregiver to her parents and nine siblings.
In 1964, Annette met the man she would go on to marry. On November 10, 1964, Annette married Bruce Lynn Kelsey at St. Eugene’s Cathedral in London Derry, Ireland.
From this marriage, Annette and Bruce would be blessed with four children. One daughter, Melessa Ann Kelsey, of London Derry, Ireland, who was born into heaven. Three sons, Kirk Lynn Kelsey (Nicole) of Lexington, SC, Barry M. Kelsey (Tammy) of Rockingham, NC and Bruce Kent Kelsey (Lori) of Aynor, SC.
Annette grew up in the Catholic Church and would later convert to being of Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Melessa, four siblings (Benvon Mullin, Helen Mullin Pryor, Michael Mullin, and Derval Mullin Yarnell), and her late husband, Bruce Kelsey.
She is survived by five siblings (Alastrionna Mullin Richards, Ingrid Mullin Johnston, Declan Mullin, Keelin Mullin Wharton, and Martin Mullin), one dear sister-in-law, Patti Kelsey Davis. Her three sons and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews. One nephew, Declan (Isabel) Mullin of Scotland, being very special to her.
Annette was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. To know Annette was to love her. Her Kind heart and sweet spirit were infectious to those around her. This loss will be felt deeply by those she has left behind, but we find comfort in knowing her heavenly home is far greater than anything this world has to offer.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs with Keelin Upchurch and Bro. Declan Mullin officiating.
Visitation will be after 10 AM on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs in Russell Springs.
Pallbearers: Danny Blair, Brandon Blair, Adam Davis, Ashley Davis, Jonah Kelsey, Jacob Kelsey and Kyle Kelsey. – Special music was presented by Steve Stapp and Tammy Kelsey and Lauren Millen
