Virginia McQueary, age 93, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, April 17 2023 at her residence.

She was born on Sunday, February 09 1930, in Russell Springs, Kentucky.

She was the daughter of:
Mother – Arizona West Stephens, who has preceded her in death
Father – Ezra Stephens, who has preceded her in death

Survivors also include:

1 Daughter:

  • Sandra Kay Roy, of Russell Springs KY

1 Son:

  • Terry McQueary, spouse Gina, of Russell Springs KY.

1 Sister:

  • Kevil Grider, of Russell Springs KY

2 Brothers:

  • Calvin Stephens, spouse Marilyn, of Chesterfield IN
  • Bobby Stephens, spouse Geri, of Russell Springs KY

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and a son in law, Bro. Delvin Wilson of Russell Springs, Kentucky. She was a dedicated member of Bernard Ridge Church of God, homemaker and a retired cook with the Russell County School System. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McQueary on December 4, 1994 and a daughter, Renda Carol Wilson on March 10, 2009, a granddaughter Shelly Dawn Wilson on August 14, 1970, a son-in-law, Morris Roy, 4 brothers, Eli, Arvester, Jason and Wilber Stephens, 3 sisters, Orpha Bennett, Ruth Smith Johnson and Magdalene Rexroat. — Pallbearers are: Kelvin Wilson, Samuel Wilson, Paul Wilson, Jacob Luster, Caiden McQueary and Steven McQueary. Special music by Diane Hughes. —- Expressions of sympathy are to take the form of a contribution to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday, April 20 2023 at Bernard Ridge Church of God, 241 Stephens Ridge Road, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 5 PM Wednesday, April 19 2023 at Bernard Ridge Church of God, 241 Stephens Ridge Road, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Bernard Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY.
