Anna Kate Holt, 98, Jamestown
Anna Kate Holt, 98, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, April 27th, at home surrounded by family.
Anna Kate was born in Russell Springs, KY on August 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Effie (Blankenship) and Robert A. Ham.
She worked many years in the public, Young’s Department Store, Kay’s Bestway and Kentucky Farm Bureau.
Anna Kate is survived by
a daughter, Diana, wife of Terry Lester, of Jamestown, KY;
daughter in law Linda Holt, of Covington, KY
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Mary Beth Gosser (Alan), Angie Wagner (Tony), Gordon Lester (Penny), Amy Castetter (John), 7 great grandchildren Dustin Gosser (Macey), Jared Gosser (Jacklyn), Lauren Powell (Griffin), Andrew Wagner, Hailey Miller (Jason), Anna Wagner, Hannah Richard (Hunter). 1 great great grandson Barrett Gosser, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Veston (Pody) Holt, Jr., brothers Scott E.(Pete) Ham, George Ham, sisters Elizabeth Porter, Nora Aaron, infant Minnie Lou Ham.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 30th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Wendell Roberts and Dustin Gosser officiating.
Friends may visit 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 30th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY.
Burial is private.
