Kristie Layne Wade, 51, Russell Springs
Kristie Layne Wade, of Columbia, formerly of Russell Springs, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at TJ Health Columbia Hospital. She was 51 years of age.
Born February 26, 1972, in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Castle Wade and Jacqueline McGowan Bailey. Kristie worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician and a Radiology Technician for many years, first at Edmonton Primary Care and then at Westlake Primary Care in Russell Springs and Columbia. She enjoyed swimming, sewing, and watching television. Kristie attended Ono Community Church.
Survivors include her stepfather, Dennis Bailey, of Columbia; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Monday, June 5, 2023, with Brother Asa Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM, until the time of services, Monday, at the funeral home.
Danny Bailey, Duane Popplewell, Greg Davis, Bryan Bailey, Frankie McGowan, and Ronald Robertson will serve as pallbearers.
