Edith Marie McQueary, 91, Russell Springs

Edith Marie McQueary, 91, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away at 5:29 PM, Tuesday, September 5th, while in the company of family, at University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, in Fayette County.

Edith was born in Russell Springs, KY on December 26, 1931, a daughter of the late Lydia Faye (Miller) and Elza Rowe Bernard.

She was a Homemaker

Edith is  survived by four daughters, Judy Lane, wife of  Larry Perkins, of Somerset, KY;
Gloria, wife of  Danny Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY;  Mary, widow of  Anthony Hill, of Russell Springs, KY;  Sandy, wife of  Dwight Kerr, of Russell Springs, KY.
four sons Ronald R., husband of  Kathy McQueary, of Russell Springs, KY;  Danny McQueary, of Seminole,, FL;  Edward McQueary, of Russell Springs, KY;  Matthew, husband of  Heather McQueary, of Lexington, KY;

Edith is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her Husband Leonis McQueary, son Billy McQueary, two brothers Elvert Bernard and William Bernard. Two sisters Lois Elda-ann Johnson and Edna Jane Handy.

A Religious Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 9th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Lindsey Cornett and Curt Hill – Bro. Eric Richardson officiating.

Public Visitation will be held 11:00 AM till time of service on Saturday, September 9th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY.

Interment at Lucinda Cemetery, KY.
