Barbara (Jeanie) McWhorter Halsell, 89, Louisville

Barbara (Jeanie) McWhorter Halsell, 89, of Louisville, KY passed away Friday, October 13th, at Story Point Prospect.

Barbara (Jeanie) was born in Jamestown, KY on January 16, 1934, a daughter of the late Edith (McFall) and Julian McWhorter.

She was a retired payroll clerk after working 38 years at Colgate-Palmolive.

Barbara (Jeanie) is  survived by
two sisters, Orene Tucker, of Columbia, KY;  Margaret McGaha, of Louisville, KY.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer Halsell, sister Lucy Helm and brothers J.R. McWhorter and Orvis Glen McWhorter.

Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM CT on Wednesday, October 18th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Pastor Steven Stilts officiating.

Friends may visit 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM CT on Wednesday, October 18th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY.

Burial in the Jack Lawless Cemetery Jamestown, KY.
