Genevieve Marie (Bousman) Kearns, 88, Russell Springs

Genevieve Marie (Bousman) Kearns, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday July 24, 2024.

Genevieve was born in Randolph County, IN on January 5, 1936, a daughter of the late Reba and Donnie Bousman. She was a cafeteria worker at Mississinawa Valley Schools for 27 years and a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church.

Genevieve is survived by: two daughters, Margaret Whitehead, of Russell Springs, KY, Ruby Lynn Kearns, of Columbia, KY; two sons Arvis Ray Kearns (Esther), of Stanton, KY and Alan F. Kearns (Nicole), of Vandalia, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Natasacha (Ryan) Hemmelgarn, Casey (Tasha) Kirk, April (Jacob) Jackson, Meghan (Mark) Gilmore, Lily Kearns, Samual and Caroline Kearns; seven great-grandchildren, Jamie and Sophia Hemmelgarn, Ayden, Emilie, and Katerina, Josephine and Aaron Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61.5 years Arvis Eugene Kearns; four sisters Alberta Bousman, Berdena Oswalt, Ann Rumple, Betty Grimes and a brother Dick Bousman. Funeral Service were held on August 3rd at Mt Pleasant Methodist Church in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating. Burial was in the Otha Helm Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY.
