Alben D. Foley, 81, Jamestown

 Alben D. Foley, 81, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, August 21st, at home.

Alben was born in Jamestown, KY on May 26, 1943, a son of the late Orpha (McGowan) and Velmer Foley.  He served in the U.S. Navy and owned a dental lab.

Alben is  survived by his wife, Janet (Bradshaw) Foley, of Jamestown, KY; a daughter, Andrea Foley, of Russell Springs, KY; a son, Robert Foley, of Russell Springs, KY.  Also surviving are three brothers: Gibson Foley (Patsy), of Jamestown, KY; Harry Foley (Sandy), of Columbia, KY; and  Ralph Foley (Mary Ann), of Nashville, TN.  He is also survived by one granddaughter Lindsey Foley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Loretta Cook.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, September 6, 2024, 6:00 PM (CT) at the Jamestown United Methodist Church, Jamestown, KY
