Boyd McArthur Dugger, 73, Jamestown

Boyd McArthur Dugger, of Jamestown, passed from this life on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset.  He was 73 years of age.

Boyd was born Saturday, April 21, 1951, in Mountain City, Tennessee, son of the late David R. and Della Richardson Dugger.  He had worked as a dairy farm hand for many years.

He is survived by his companion, Carolyn Gaskin, of Jamestown; his brother, David R. Dugger, Jr., of Jonesborough, Tennessee; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Along with his parents, Boyd is preceded in death by his siblings, J. D. Dugger, Jesse Howard Dugger, Melba Smith and Dora Mae Loggins.

No public services will be held at this time.  Donations may be made to the funeral home to help Boyd’s family offset funeral expenses.
