Kay Stephens, 74, Russell Springs

Kay Stephens, 74, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away at 8:50 PM, Friday, November 1st, while in the company of family, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

Kay was born in Russel Springs, KY on January 2, 1950, a daughter of Alberta (Foley) Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY and the late Donald Thomas.

She was a member of Bernard Ridge Church of God and a homemaker.

Kay is survived by her husband, Hollis (Cee) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY; her mother, Alberta (Foley) Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY; a daughter, Pam, wife of Randy Stephens-Stargle, of Russell Springs, KY; two sons Danny, husband of Lori Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY and Torry Ryder, of Russell Springs, KY; seven sisters, Donetta Stephens, of Jamestown, KY, Teresa Coffey, of Anderson, IN,  Joyce Wheat, of Russell Springs, KY, Rhonda Marples, of Vero Beach, FL, Mickey Pennington, of Jamestown, KY, Kara Marples, of Liberty, KY, and Kerri Barnes, of Russell Springs, KY; two brothers, Randy Thomas, of Jamestown, KY, Scott Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father; two brothers Larry Joe Thomas and Donald Leon Thomas; two sisters Celia Dale Thomas and Linda Sue Thomas.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM CT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Eric Richardson and Bro. Johnny Mark Dunbar officiating.

Friends may visit after 4:30 PM CT on Monday, November 4th and after 8:00 AM CT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY.
