Delbert Pierce, 82, Russell Springs
Delbert Pierce, age 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on Tuesday, February 10, 1942, in Jamestown, Kentucky. He was the son of Ivory Learl Mason Pierce and Lennie A. Pierce, who have preceded him in death. He retired from General Electric, was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Methodist Faith.
Delbert is survived by his wife Margaret Wooldridge Pierce of Russell Springs, KY; two sisters, Cola Faye Davis, of Louisville, KY, Donna Jean Martin, of Jamestown, KY; a brother, Mitchell Pierce, of Jamestown, KY.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Marshall Pierce and a sister Jewell Conner.
Visitation will be 11:00AM Tuesday, November 19, 2024 with funeral services starting at 1:00PM at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Pallbearers are: Nathan Bradshaw, Vic Cooper, Jr., Zach VanArsdale, Brian Pierce, Morris Whittle and Taylor Cundiff.
Military Honors performed by the Russell County Honor Guard. Interment will be in Dixon Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.
Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
