Margaret Louise Wooten, 87, Russell Springs

Margaret Louise Wooten, age 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, January 08, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was born on Thursday, January 21 1937, in Creelsboro, KY.  She was the daughter of Effie Myrtle Hill Miller and Orla Lee Miller. Louise spent 24 years as General Manager of WAIN Radio Station in Columbia.

Louise is survived by: a daughter Traci Allison Wooten, of Lexington, KY; a son, Mark Edward Wooten, of Russell Springs, KY.  She is also survived by two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Eugene “Yogie” Wooten, a daughter, Vickie Leah Wooten Redmon and a brother, Joe Russell Miller.
