Jackie Gosser Russell, 89, Russell Springs

Jackie Gosser Russell, age 89, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Liberty Care Center.

She was born on Tuesday, February 05 1935, in Russell County, Kentucky to Penelopie Ellen Auterson Gosser and Theodora M. “Dora” Gosser.  She was retired from Emerson Chair Manufacturing and was a member of Ono Community Church.

Jackie is survived by a daughter, Janet Smith, of Lexington, KY and a son, Matthew Russell, of Russell Springs.  She is also survived by two grandchildren, Hunter Haynes and Lacrisia McPherson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Russell; two sisters, Bernice Gosser and Roberta Gosser.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY.
