Lakers clip Clinton, slip to Adair County

In two thrilling games-one which went into overtime-both the Lakers and Lady Lakers sent the Clinton County to the doghouse in double-header action at home.
The first game Thursday saw the Lady Lakers defeat the Bulldogs 40-38.
With the score tied at the end of regulation play, a three-pointer by Addison Hart gave Russell County the victory in overtime.

The Laker Boys beat the Bulldogs by ten, 58-48 in an aggressive game.
Russell County had three players: Mayes Gosser, Dylan Stanelle, and Logan Walters score in double digits.
Both Russell County teams fell to Adair on the road the following evening.
The Lakers will be in 16th District play next week.
The fourth-seed Lady Lakers will travel to Cumberland County to face Clinton County once again in opening round action Sunday.
The Laker Boys enter the tournament Tuesday as third-seed facing tournament host Cumberland County.
