Nancy Thomas, 77, Russell Springs

Nancy Thomas, age 77, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, February 24 2025 at her residence.

She was born on Monday, May 19 1947, in Casey County, Kentucky to Oma Yaden Richardson and Ernest McKinley Richardson.

Nancy is survived by: three daughters, Patricia Short, of Liberty, KY, Renita Russell, spouse Phillip, of Russell Springs, KY, Gayle Nelson, spouse Don, of Sidney, MT; one son Gregory Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY; one sister Janice Miano, of Bellview, OH.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Thomas, two brothers, Lillard and Jack Richardson, three sisters, Lorene Brown, Mary McKimmy and Agnes (Polly) Richardson.

She was a former employee of Liberty Sportswear in Liberty and attended the Rich Hill Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her youngest grandson, Kolbi.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Willow Springs Cemetery.
