RCMS Volleyball excels in championship season

The Russell County Middle School (RCMS) Seventh Grade Volleyball Team finished their season Saturday in a big way. With wins over Hart and Adair Counties, the Lady Lakers earned not only the regular season, but also the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference (CKMSAC) Championship title.

The Russell County Middle School (RCMS) Seventh Grade Volleyball Team finished their season Saturday in a big way with two championship titles.

With wins over Hart and Adair Counties, the Lady Lakers not only earned the regular season, but also the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference (CKMSAC) Championship title.

Led by Coach Leslie Brown RCMS Volleyball has become a program to watch…and enjoy.

Prior to tournament action, Russell County recently played at home against Green County, a conference opponent.

The seventh and eighth grade team came away with wins.

On a roll, the seventh-grade team entered tournament play this past weekend as the number one seed-and accomplished the distinction of dual championships.

The eighth grade earned a second seed position for their turn for a tournament title this Saturday, March 1.
