Darrell Roy, 77, Russell Springs

Darrell Roy, age 77, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on Saturday, May 01 1948, in Somerset, Kentucky to the late  Edna Lois Gosser Gosser and Delmer Roy.

Darrell is survived by: wife, Paulette Roy of Russell Springs; a daughter, Carrie Russell, spouse Gary, of Russell Springs; one sister, Anna Terry, of Russell Springs; one brother, Charles Roy, spouse Carol, of Russell Springs. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Abbie Russell of Russell Springs.

He was a design engineer for Fruit of the Loom in Jamestown and member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation will be 9 AM Saturday, May 31 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY.  Military rites will be performed by the Russell County Honor Guard.  Bro. Joe Gosser will be officiating.
