The City of Russell Springs was well-represented this past week at the 2025 Governor’s Local Issues Conference at The Galt House in Louisville.

Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas caught up with friend of Russell County Rocky Adkins, Senior Advisor to Gov. Andy Beshear. Adkins often attends local events and festivities.
While attending the event, city officials networked with Gov. Andy Beshear and heard from organizations (including the Department of Local Government, ARC, and more) which focus their efforts on supporting Kentucky communities.
