Ronald “Ronnie” Bernard, 75, Russell Springs
Ronald “Ronnie” Bernard, age 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Russell County Hospital.
He was born to the late Alma “Ovalene” Irvin Bernard and Arlus “Red” Bernard on Thursday, June 08, 1950, in Russell County, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Bernard and siblings. Patty Kinnett, David and Allen Bernard.
Ronnie is survived by: two daughters, Robin Redmon, spouse Brian, of Liberty and Amber Taylor, of Russell Springs; three sisters, Loretta Cherry, Wanda Conner, both of Russell Springs and Janie Wall, of Columbia; three brothers, Mark Bernard, Jamie Bernard and Andrew Bernard, all of Russell Springs, KY.
He is also survived by six grandchildren: Tionna, Dylan, Kieran, Lindsay, Mallie, and Karissa, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his loving caregiver, Amy Phillips and his best Dog Friend, “Ollie”.
Ronnie made his life in the carpentry business and enjoyed building houses and laying block. Ronnie had a strong Christian Faith, loved Jesus like no other and was a member of Royville Friendship Church. Ronnie was a huge Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan and enjoyed Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Wilson Funeral Home.
