Laker Band show gets lots of love

Judges, fans, and music lovers are apparently “Lovestruck” with the new Laker Band show and performance.
This past week, Russell County earned Best Music, Best Effect, and First Place in Prelim competition at Estill County.
Russell County was also designated Reserve Grand Champion in Final Awards.
The Laker Band entered the Estill competition, coming off a fifth-place overall finish in their first competition of the season at the recent Bourbon County Colonel Classic.
The Mighty Laker Marching Band will compete at Barren County on Saturday, October 11.
