Band takes third in state

The Russell County Mighty Laker Marching Band took third place at State Finals competition this past weekend.
Murray captured top 3A honors-followed by Taylor in second, with Russell third, then Adair, LaRue and Allen County/Scottsville to round out the top positions.
Russell County advanced to the finals after an outstanding performance in State Semi-Final action earlier in the day on Saturday.
