Russell County Middle School (RCMS) Mighty Laker Basketball got a strong start to their season last week.
Lakers Jaden Durham and Raylan McAninch were on the move against Hart County last week.
The Lakers swept visiting Hart County in three home games Monday.
In sixth grade action, the Lakers came away with a 33-29 win, followed by the seventh grade’s 42-36 victory, and a 53-22 romp by the eighth-grade team.
RCMS’s Colten Whitaker waited to make his move in a recent game as the Lakers hosted Hart County.
Russell County was set top play Clinton County at home at press time.
