RCMS continues hot streak

Coming off a recent series of wins, Russell County Middle School (RCMS) Basketball continued its hot streak last week.
Thursday, the RCMS Laker Boys swept Campbellsville in three games at home.
Top scorer Brenner Helm had 12 points in the sixth grade’s 23-12 victory.
Baylor Brummett contributed seven.
The Laker seventh grade’s 35-28 win was boosted by Liam Overby’s 11 points and teammate Brantley Turner’s eight points.
Russell County Middle School’s Brantley Turner drove the floor against Southern Middle School during a home game last week.
The evening was capped off nicely by the RCMS eighth grade’s 54-37 soar over the Eagles.
Laker Colton Whitaker pumped in 16 points-followed by Clay Antle’s 15 for the win.
