Carl Neal Richardson, 76, Russell Springs

Carl Neal Richardson, age 76, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home in Russell Springs.

Carl was born June 6, 1949, in Russell County, to Ralph and Catherine Loy Richardson. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed coon hunting, and watching UK games and westerns on T.V. Carl was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He loved his church and his church family.

Survivors include a son, Shane (and Laramie) Richardson, of Russell Springs; grandson, Clay Richardson, of Russell Springs; three brothers, Marion Richardson and Bro. Glen (and Willodean) Richardson, of Russell Springs, and Danny (and Mary) Richardson, of Lexington; three sisters, Rebecca (and Doug) Darnell, of Russell Springs, Dale (and Ray) Stilts, of Columbia, and Kathy Holt, of Dunnville; brother-in-law, Lloyd Alley, of Columbia; stepson, Mike Warriner; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Abston, and Sherry Roberts; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family; along with special friends, Carolyn Garner, and Tobi Grider and her children, Brylee, Carlie, Traygen, and Linnley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death a brother, Boyd Richardson and a sister, Marlene Alley.

Funeral services are 3:30 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with Bro. Glen Richardson and Bro. Preston Richardson officiating. Special music will be provided by nieces and nephews.  Family members will serve as pallbearers. There will be no visitation prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.
