February Grand Jury Indictments

The following people were indicted by the Russell County Grand Jury February 24, 2026.

David R. Smith II, age 28, of Russell Springs was charged with: Bail Jumping, 1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Tony M. Wright, age 41, of Greensburg was charged with: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; Operating on an Expired License; No registration Receipt; Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Angela Farrer, age 57, of Jamestown was charged with: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Persistent Felony Offender, 2nd Degree.

Zachary J. Noble, age 410, of Jamestown was charged with: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Heroin), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; Public Intoxication; Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.

Scott E. Wilkerson, age 40, of Russell Springs was charged with: Leaving the Scene of an Accident, a Class A Misdemeanor; Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree, a Class D felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class D Felony; Reckless Driving; Improper Turning; Failure to Produce Insurance Card.

James Carter, age 49, was charged with: Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, a Class C Felony; Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor.

Theresa Grant, age 43, of Jamestown was charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class D Felony.

Nathaniel Garrett, age 34, of Louisville was charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, 3rd Offense, a Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; Operating on a Suspended or Revoked License; No Registration; License to be in Possession.

Anthony D. Williams, age 34, of Russell Springs was charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; One Headlight; No Insurance; License to be in Possession.

Nicole A. Popplewell, age 33, of Knifley was charged with: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class D Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Dustin Ard, age 42, of Russell Springs was charged with: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 1st Degree, a Class C Felony; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor; Operating on a Suspended License; Failure to Register Transfer of Motor Vehicle; No Registration Plates; No Registration Receipt; No Insurance; Persistent Felony Offender, 1st Degree.
