Carole Ann Loveless, 79, Nancy

Carole Ann Loveless, age 79, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
Carole was born on July 4, 1946, in Public, Kentucky, to the late Bishop Inabnitt and Telvis Eaton Inabnitt. A woman of deep and abiding faith, Carole was a devoted member of each church she attended and lived her Christian beliefs each day through her love, kindness, and service to others. She cherished her church family and found great joy in singing, teaching Sunday school, and helping with Vacation Bible School. Her compassionate heart was especially evident in her concern for underprivileged children, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Carole embraced life with gratitude and enthusiasm. She enjoyed tending to her garden and traveling. Together Carole and Doug traveled to all the 48 states except for Rhode Island – some of those were bus tours that they thoroughly enjoyed. She loved spending meaningful time with family and friends, Carole loved being with her brothers and sisters, but nothing brought her greater happiness than being with her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart and were among her greatest blessings. Her grandchildren, DJ and Marissa have many fond memories of the times spent with their “Ninnie” – at the place they called home.
Carole and her beloved husband, Doug, of almost fifty-nine years, dreamed of having a large family. Although their journey did not unfold as they had once imagined, they remained steadfast in faith, trusting God’s plan for their lives. Their prayers were lovingly answered when they were blessed with their son, Daniel, a gift from God who became one of the greatest joys and proudest accomplishments of Carole’s life.
Blessed with friendships that spanned generations, Carole had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Among her dearest friends was Beulah Coner, whose friendship she treasured throughout the years, and Beulah was a strong affluent in Carole’s life. One of the proudest moments for Carole was hearing Beulah say that Carole was one of her best friends. The bond they shared was a testament to Carole’s warm spirit and the genuine love she extended to those around her.
Carole will be remembered for her sense of humor, her easy laugh, unwavering faith, gentle heart, generous spirit and the love she shared so freely with her family, friends, and community. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, and Christian love will continue to live on in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dorvin D. Loveless, whom she married on September 30, 1967 in Oneida, TN; one son, Daniel Morgan (Michelle) Loveless of Nancy; two grandchildren, Marissa Loveless and DJ Loveless; two brothers, Ed (Rhonda) Inabnitt of Somerset and Jeff Inabnitt of Somerset; one brother-in-law, Phillip Shipp of Somerset; one sister, Betty Skidmore; and several other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who are saddened by her passing.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Tamara Jill “Tammy” Shipp; and one sister-in-law, Barb Bullock Inabnitt.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 11:00am at Hopeful Baptist Church with Bro. Valando Loveless and Bro. Brad Shipp officiating.
