James “Jim” Lester Herriford, 85, Lexington

James “Jim” Lester Herriford, 85, of Lexington, KY passed away Wednesday, June 24th, at Pine Meadows Post Acute facility, Lexington, KY.

James “Jim” was born in Swan Pond Bottom, KY on February 2, 1941, a son of the late Elizabeth (Lester) and Lester Herriford.

He is survived by: son, Greg Herriford (Kelly); brother, Ron Herriford (Pam); sister-in-law, Linda Herriford.

Jim is also survived by two granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Reba (Huff) Herriford, and brother David Herriford.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday July 2, 2026, 11:00 AM CST at the Jamestown Cemetery.

Burial in the Jamestown Cemetery.
